Privacy
MermaidWriter runs entirely in your browser. Diagram source code and exports are processed on your device. We do not operate user accounts, cloud storage, or server-side diagram storage for this editor.
Data on your device
Your diagram text stays in the editor until you refresh or close the tab, unless you save a file yourself using Export. We do not send diagram content to our servers as part of normal editor use.
Analytics
When a Google Analytics 4 measurement ID is configured in js/analytics-config.js,
the site loads Google Tag Manager scripts to collect usage metrics (page views, exports, compiles, template and theme changes).
Diagram source code is not sent to Google Analytics. IP anonymization is enabled in the default configuration.
Third-party resources
Fonts may load from Google Fonts. Mermaid, Tailwind CSS, and Font Awesome are bundled and served from this site. Google Analytics loads only when you set a measurement ID.
